 <strong>Participation &ndash\; Written Bids / Telephone Bids</strong> <br 
/><br />Written bids and registrations for telephone bidding (a written sec
urity bid is required\; telephone bidding is available only subject to staf
f availability and prior arrangement) will only be accepted if accompanied 
by a bank confirmation issued by a German credit institution and received n
o later than 24 hours before the auction (12:00 noon CEST). The Bid Form (P
DF) can be downloaded from our website under Auction Calendar. Complete the
 form electronically\, sign it electronically (electronic signatures are ac
cepted)\, indicate the relevant auction number and return it by e-mail or f
ax. For online live auctions\, bids may be submitted: online\, in writing\,
 or by telephone (subject to prior approval). Telephone bidders will be con
tacted approximately five minutes before their lot is offered for sale. Bid
der Registration and Deposit In accordance with the German Money Laundering
 Act (GwG) and applicable auction regulations\, we are legally required to 
verify the identity of every bidder. Therefore\, registration requires paym
ent of a EUR 1.00 security deposit by bank transfer under auction number 26
10 The transfer must originate from a bank account held in the bidder's own
 name. Payments from third-party accounts cannot be accepted. The deposit s
erves exclusively for identification purposes and authorises participation 
in the auction. Where previous payment defaults or doubts regarding a bidde
r's financial capacity exist\, we reserve the right to require an additiona
l security deposit of up to the estimated purchase price. The amount of suc
h deposit shall be determined by the auctioneer conducting the auction. The
 security deposit will either: be credited against the purchase price\, or 
be refunded after completion of the auction. Should the successful bidder f
ail to complete payment or collection of the purchased assets\, or breach S
ections 14 or 15 of the Auction Terms and Conditions\, the security deposit
 shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. <br /><br /><strong>Buyer's Prem
ium</strong> <br /><br />The successful bidder shall pay the following buye
r's premium\, plus the applicable 19% German VAT on the buyer's premium: Ha

 above 2% Hammer Price and Payment The hammer price is invoiced exclusive o
f VAT (the buyer's premium is subject to VAT where applicable). Risk passes
 to the purchaser immediately upon the fall of the hammer. Payment is due i
mmediately in Euros by one of the following methods: instant online bank tr
ansfer\, same-day bank transfer\, certified central bank cheque (where appl
icable)\, or an irrevocable bank-certified cheque. As we act in a fiduciary
 capacity and are required to ensure immediate settlement\, subsequent bank
 transfers cannot be accepted. <br /><br /><strong>Language</strong> <br />
<br />The auction is conducted exclusively in the German language. If you d
o not fully understand German\, we strongly recommend using a professional 
translator or interpreter before participating. Although our staff may be a
ble to provide limited assistance in English\, French or Spanish\, the lega
lly binding auction procedure and all declarations are made in German. Meth
ods of Bidding Bids may be submitted: in person\, online\, in writing\, or 
by telephone (subject to prior arrangement and staff availability). Written
 bids must be received and confirmed by us no later than 24 hours before th
e auction begins in order to be considered. For all forms of bidding\, prio
r registration and receipt of the required security deposit are mandatory. 
Security The premises in which the auction assets are stored may be monitor
ed by video surveillance. Any theft or attempted theft will be reported to 
the competent law enforcement authorities. Transfer of Ownership Upon full 
payment of the hammer price and the buyer's premium\, the transfer document
ation will be issued immediately and dispatched by registered mail with ack
nowledgment of receipt. Language If you do not understand the text in this

y payment reminders will only be accepted with bank confirmation from a Ger

theft: We reserve the right to use video surveillance in the rooms where th
e items to be auctioned are kept. All thefts will be reported by us to the
